INTRODUCTION

The Master of Science (MSc) in Information Technology, designed for students entering through the BS 5th Semester track, is a two-year advanced academic program focused on equipping learners with in-depth knowledge of modern IT disciplines. The curriculum emphasizes core areas such as software engineering, cybersecurity, data analytics, machine learning, cloud computing, and enterprise systems. It fosters critical thinking, research aptitude, and practical problem-solving skills, preparing graduates for dynamic careers in IT consulting, system architecture, data science, network administration, software development, and digital innovation. Upon completion, students are well-positioned to pursue advanced certifications, industry roles, research opportunities, or doctoral studies in Information Technology and related fields.

MSc Mathematics (BS 5th Semester)

MSc Mathematics (BS 5th Semester) requires a minimum of 14 years of education in a relevant field such as BSc with Mathematics A & B courses, BS (Mathematics), or an equivalent qualification. Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks (or equivalent CGPA) in their previous qualification from an HEC-recognized institution. In addition, applicants may be required to provide:

• Transcript or degree showing completion of at least four semesters (or equivalent)
• An interview to assess mathematical background and academic motivation
• Equivalence Certificate (if previous qualification is from a foreign or non-standard institution)
