INTRODUCTION

The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Islamic Studies is a four-year academic program designed to provide an in-depth understanding of Islamic teachings, history, jurisprudence, and contemporary issues from an Islamic perspective. It emphasizes critical thinking, ethical reasoning, and scholarly research in areas such as the Qur'an, Hadith, Fiqh, Islamic philosophy, and civilization. The program prepares students for careers in education, research, religious leadership, community development, and interfaith dialogue. Graduates can pursue advanced studies in Islamic Studies or related fields such as Shariah, Theology, or Comparative Religion, obtain professional certifications, or qualify for roles in academic, public, and private sector institutions.

BS Islamic Studies

BS in Islamic Studies requires a minimum of 45% in Intermediate (F.A. or equivalent) with Islamic Studies or any related subject. All genders having domicile of Punjab are eligible for admission.

The maximum age limit for eligibility is 22 years for the Morning Program and 24 years for the Replica Program. However, a 3-year age relaxation may be granted by the Competent Authority upon request, duly recommended by the Admission Committee.

Some institutions may also require:

  • • Equivalence Certificate for A-Level, Dars-e-Nizami, or other foreign qualification holders
