INTRODUCTION

The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science is a four-year academic program designed to provide a strong foundation in programming, algorithms, data structures, software engineering, databases, computer networks, and artificial intelligence. It enhances logical thinking, problem-solving, and technical skills, preparing students for careers in software development, cybersecurity, data science, web and mobile application development, IT consulting, and system analysis. Graduates can pursue advanced studies in Computer Science or related fields such as Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Information Technology, obtain professional certifications, or qualify for competitive exams in both the public and private sectors.

Eligibility Criteria

All genders having domicile of Punjab are eligible for admission to the BS Computer Science program.
The maximum age limit for eligibility is 22 years for the Morning program and 24 years for the Replica (Evening) program.
However, a relaxation of up to 3 years may be granted by the Competent Authority upon the student's request, duly recommended by the Admission Committee.
Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in one of the following:
- • FA/FSc (Pre-Engineering or ICS)
- • ICom
- • ICS
- • A-Level or equivalent qualification
to be eligible to apply for the BS Computer Science program.
