INTRODUCTION

The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Software Engineering is a four-year academic program aimed at developing expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining software systems. The program provides students with a strong foundation in programming, software architecture, database management, and system analysis, while emphasizing problem-solving skills and engineering principles. It prepares students for careers in software development, quality assurance, systems design, and IT consultancy. Graduates are equipped to pursue advanced studies in Software Engineering or related fields such as Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Cybersecurity, earn professional certifications, and explore a wide range of opportunities in both the public and private sectors.

Eligibility Criteria

All genders having domicile of Punjab are eligible for admission to the BS Software Engineering program.
The maximum age limit for eligibility is 22 years for the Morning program and 24 years for the Replica (Evening) program.
However, a relaxation of up to 3 years may be granted by the Competent Authority upon the student's request, duly recommended by the Admission Committee.
Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in one of the following:
- • FA/FSc (Pre-Engineering or ICS)
- • ICom
- • ICS
- • A-Level or equivalent qualification
to be eligible to apply for the BS Software Engineering program.
