INTRODUCTION

The Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science (BS 5th Semester) is a continuation of a four-year undergraduate program, designed to build advanced competencies in areas such as algorithms, programming, artificial intelligence, machine learning, software engineering, and data structures. This program deepens students' understanding of computing principles while enhancing their research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Graduates are well-prepared for specialized careers in software development, data science, AI, cybersecurity, systems analysis, and academic or research-based roles. They may also pursue doctoral studies or professional certifications to further advance their expertise and career prospects in both the public and private sectors.

• All genders having domicile of Punjab are eligible for admission.
• The maximum age limit for eligibility is 26 years for the Morning program and 28 years for the Replica program. However, a relaxation of up to 3 years can be granted by the Competent Authority on the recommendation of the admission committee.
• Applicants must have completed at least 14 years of education with a relevant background such as BS (CS), BS (IT), BS (SE), or BSc with Computer Science and obtained at least 50% marks (or equivalent CGPA) from an HEC-recognized institution.
