INTRODUCTION

The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Technology (IT) is a four-year academic program designed to equip students with a strong foundation in computing, software development, networking, cybersecurity, and database management. It emphasizes practical skills, problem-solving, and technological innovation, preparing students for dynamic careers in software engineering, IT support, web and app development, systems administration, data analytics, and information security. Graduates can pursue advanced studies in IT or related fields such as Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Data Science, obtain industry-recognized certifications, or qualify for competitive roles in both the public and private sectors.

Eligibility Criteria

BS Information Technology (IT)

• All genders having domicile of Punjab are eligible for admission.
• The maximum age limit for eligibility is 22 years for the Morning program and 24 years for the Replica program. However, a relaxation of up to 3 years can be granted by the Competent Authority on the recommendation of the admission committee.
• Applicants must have obtained at least 50% marks in FA, FSc, ICS, ICom, A-Level, or an equivalent examination to be eligible to apply for the BS IT program.
