INTRODUCTION
The Master of Science (MSc) in Zoology (BS 5th Semester Entry) is a two-year advanced academic program designed for students who have completed 14 years of education in the biological sciences. The program builds upon foundational knowledge and offers an in-depth exploration of animal biology, ecology, physiology, genetics, behavior, evolutionary biology, and environmental conservation. It emphasizes critical thinking, research methodology, and scientific communication, preparing students for diverse roles in wildlife research, biodiversity conservation, environmental consultancy, academia, and biotechnology. Graduates may pursue MPhil or PhD programs in Zoology or allied fields such as Ecology, Marine Biology, and Environmental Science, or qualify for professional positions in government, NGOs, and private sector organizations.
